Ballet (3-6 years)
Ballet helps encourages physical discipline and general body awareness and control. It also promotes good posture and body awareness. Ballet is a strength and flexibility exercise that makes the skeletal and muscular system stronger. Besides the physical benefits, taking ballet as a child fosters self-esteem and confidence. Children will learn to develop social interactions and friendships.
About the Instructor
Suzanne Yap started taking up ballet lessons at the age of 6. In completion of her RAD Vocational Advanced 2 level in the year of 2011, she had participated in several ballet solo competitions organized by The Dance Society Malaysia. Besides ballet, she is also trained in different dance styles such as the Chinese fan dance, cultural dance, contemporary, modern girl’s style and Latin. She performs in various events and concerts as well as choreographs dance concerts. She is currently pursuing her degree in Bachelor of Psychology (Honors) at Help University College.
