SUMMARY:Entrepreneurship and Public Speaking 2024
DESCRIPTION:ENTREPRENEURSHIP & PUBLIC SPEAKING (7yrs to teens)\n\n\nDate:  February 19-23\n\n\nTime: 10am to 12pm \n\nFee: RM160 or RM750 for 5 days (include all materials)\nPresentation is held on the final day!\n\n\nWe celebrate innovators like Bill Gates\, Richard Branson and Mark Zuckerberg who have\, as Steve Jobs said\, “put a dent in the universe.” Millennials—our children and teens—as a group want to have impact\, want to pursue their passions and want to be innovators. \nThere is no better way to prepare students for the world of the 21st century\, whether they aspire to work for a large company\, start their own business\, go into academia or devote themselves to public service than through cultivating their skills in entrepreneurship. \nOur take of entrepreneurship emphasizes on : \n\nDeveloping the inter-disciplinary skills to\nLead to develop entrepreneurial mindset and\nnot merely starting businesses.\n\nThe Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship defines the entrepreneurial mindset as the set of attitudes\, skills and behaviors that students need to succeed academically\, personally and professionally. \nThese include: \n\ninitiative and self-direction\,\nrisk-taking\,\nflexibility and adaptability\,\ncreativity and innovation\,\ncritical thinking and problem solving.\n\nAs well as the ability to see \n\nopportunities\,\nresources and\ncreate value.\n\nYou would agree with us that the skills developed are relevant to everyone. Learning the entrepreneurial mindset is a critically valuable 21st century skill. Those who learn it well will have outsized success in their careers — no matter what they choose to do — because by definition they become resourceful and adaptable. \nEntrepreneurism must be practiced to be learned. It is experiential. Just as you can’t learn to swim at the library\, you can’t learn what entrepreneurship is about unless you have experienced it. Our workshop will provide this valuable experience for your children.\nA unique Public Speaking Workshop to match your unique child.\nOur workshop will bring out and nurture your children’s individual presentation style.\nYour children will be coached to project a confident speaker in:\n\nExpressing their point of views\nAdopting meaningful gestures\nEngaging the audience\nPublic speaking though feared by most\, it can be a pleasant successful experience with us.\nA presentation will be held on the final day.\n\n \n  \nYour Facilitator\nAmelya Isaac\, the co-founder of Never Ending Story S/B\, will spear head the team in facilitating this course. Amelya has been working with thousands of students providing various courses that incorporate exercises/activities to promote entrepreneurial mindset. With Never Ending Story\, her ongoing satisfied clients are students of Tenby Schools\, Garden International Schools and International School of Kuala Lumpur.\nBooking must be confirmed with payment.
